This open & hybrid technical coordination session invited TPF members, technology providers, and other interested stakeholders to engage with buildingSMART International on the future of IDS, validation, and certification. The meeting highlighted bSI’s roadmap and upcoming plans, alongside updates on the evolution of the IFC standard, including IFC 4.4 and early direction for IFC 5. Attendees gained insight into how these developments impact infrastructure and transportation workflows, interoperability, and software implementation, and had the opportunity to engage in discussion around standard adoption and readiness across the industry.
